R‐PLUS STABILIZED is a wood fiber cellulose insulation treated with a fire‐retardant. It contains a dry adhesive and is the ideal product for wall cavity spray and stabilized attic applications. The adhesive is activated with water during the application process and dries to a tough durable finish and will not settle over time. FIBER-LITE PLUS Cellulose Insulation is installed in exterior and interior walls of new construction including garage and basement walls. It provides excellent sound control, blocking noise from outside as well as between rooms. FIBER-LITE PLUS is treated with a 100% sodium polyborate flame retardant plus a dry adhesive and is non-corrosive to metal.
